New Members - Introduce yourselves in this thread and let us know a little about you

Welcome to the site !

At the moment we are focusing on highlighting news stories in the filtered feed as blog posts to build up a searchable database of reports. We also hope to be able to bring some rare zombie footage (unfortunately this is currently held in customs) and possibly some audio reports from the field.

If you have any video, images, audio recordings or notes from your own research that you are willing to share, please do so. Also, please check out and comment on our existing member blogs and introduce yourself in the thread below.

Glad to have you with us!

Hey

I don't really have a lot to contribute. I don't really know a lot about zombies but I'm having fun learning about them and am always willing to listen to tips and advice.

I live in London and have started looking for signs of zombie activity in Fulham recently but haven't seen anything yet.

My girlfriend Zoe doens't believe in zombies yet. I'd like to prove to her that they exist so that she can be suitably prepared too.

Hey Lek

Good to have you with us!

We didn't know about your site when we brought our service online but we'll look forward to working together. We've piped our main reports feed through to one of your 'outbreak' group pages - which should help your members stay up to speed. We'll certainly be looking in on you guys often and hope you'll do the same.

Welcome to the site

My husband & I live in Texas & have suspected the existence of zombies for years. Our suspicions now confirmed, we do what we can to survive. Although my hopes of a peaceful co-existence were never really more than a pipe-dream, I would like to find out more on what truly propels them so we can find a way to exist in a state other than constant chaos. Until then, they all have to die.

Hi, my name is Joe, I am nearley 27, I am interested in Zombie fiction and media, and talking about hypothetical zombie outbreaks. I can run a mile and a half in 11minutes 54 seconds, my "first weapon" is a pair of Sai although i would prefer to evade a confrontation with the undead rather than open hand to hand combat, I live in England so I have no access to firearms, I believe that you should learn a bit about wi-chung as it would certainly aid you in a close quarters altercation with the undead.
LoL, I dont seriously believe that we are close to a Zombie apocalypse or even a class 1 outbreak, I dont think it is outside the possibilty that a virus/bio-weapon/strain of something could exist in a lab somewhere that could cause something like it, but i would say it is bordering on the extremely unlikely.
However, no harm in being prepared for such disasters coz you just dont know what is round the corner...... hahahaha, enjoy!

Anyone wanting to talk about the undead or ask me any questions on anything just send me a msg!

msn adds welcome too.

Hello all,

I'm Fridge, its not the real name obviously but its the one nearly everyone calls me.

I haven't really got much to contribute right away, but I'm a bit of an urban explorer so I'm sure an close encounter is only around the corner.

I've been a bit obsessed with zombies since I was 12 (I'm 25 now). It was that when I walked into a building I would start to assess how secure it was. Reading Max Brooks Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z hasn't helped lol. But at least I'm better prepared.

I live in the West Midlands in a town called Telford. And I've been spreading the word about Zombies by getting as many of my friends to read both books, which seems to be working. I'm sure that if there's going to be an outbreak anywhere I think this place would be perfect, just big enough to amass a reasonable large force just small enough for no one to really notice until its too late.

I am honored to be a part of the zombie resistance. I have always known that my eclectic knowledge might one day be of use to the world. While the zombie scourge might not yet be a plague, any doctor can tell you that prophylaxis beats catch up.

Greetings; I am the Wayward Judge. While not my name, I can't help being what I am. What I can help is this site, and hopefully I will get my chance. As a matter of fact, I have seen some suspicious things, but more on that in my profile.

I live in Michigan, but I travel every once in a while and hope to come across some fishy news, along with some shiny things for my collection. When bored, I either enthrall myself by looking at said collection, reading lengthy novels, listening to some Black Sabbath or thinking about zombies - the latter I find to be a good brain exercise. I do have a plan - multiple actually - if I am faced with a local outbreak, which I believe to be quite possible. On the contrary with our friend Joseph, I think we are dangerously close to a zombie pandemic. The judging part of me says that it will happen because the world will let it, and not take the appropriate countermeasures against it.

I look forward to interacting with it's colorful members, and also to be of great use to the Sentinel.

My name is Wayne. Im a 24 yr. male from Texas, born and raised. I have a strong interest in self reliance and survival, back-to-the-land and all that. I've made friends with a second gen cold war survivor, good folk ready for kremlin joe to let fly with the nukes. We believe zombies are an excellent preparation tool that represent multiple and ultimate disaster; if you're ready for zombies, you're probably ready for anything. That said, we are highly suspect of an adulterated and/or manipulated strain of rabies capable of short incubation periods. While it is unlikely that the release of such a virulent toxin would occur uncontrolled and thus within public view, media coverage of such an event could be a possibility. It is highly likely that some sort of manipulation or black-out of such media coverage would occur, meaning our jobs are cut out for us. Good luck yall, keep in touch.
